Julie French has been practicing Yoga for over 15 years and has been teaching for two. She has experienced a variety of styles including Power Yoga but prefers to practice and teach a slower version of Vinyasa incorporating various styles, as every variation of Yoga has benefit. She primarily teaches to beginners and intermediate individuals but truly enjoys working with children as that is her educational foundation. She has State of Maine k-8 teaching certification with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Julie sees the benefits Yoga helping people achieve strength, a more lean and balanced body, a clearer mind and a less-reactive emotional state. She views these traits as beneficial to all, from young children to older adults. She wishes to make Yoga a mainstay in everyone’s life, from athletes to people with physical challenges and she wants to break down the myth that "Yoga is only for super flexible people."
